By using HireMeScan, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. What the service is

HireMeScan compares the text of a resume with a job description and produces an AI-assisted report containing scores, keyword analysis, strengths, gaps, and suggested edits. The service is free and does not require an account.

2. No guarantee of employment

The report is guidance, not a hiring decision. We do not guarantee that you will pass an applicant tracking system, receive an interview, or be offered a job. Scores are estimates generated by a language model and may vary between runs.

3. AI limitations

AI output can be incomplete or wrong. You are responsible for reviewing every suggestion before adding it to your resume. Do not claim skills, experience, education, or achievements you do not have.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Upload a resume that belongs to someone else without permission.
• Use the service for unlawful, harassing, or fraudulent purposes.
• Attempt to disrupt, scrape, overload, or reverse engineer the service.
• Bypass rate limits or use automation to send bulk requests.
• Upload files containing malware or content you do not have the right to share.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of the resume and job description you provide. You grant us permission to process that content only to generate the requested analysis, as described in the privacy policy. We do not claim ownership of your resume and we do not store it in a database.

6. Third-party services

The service relies on third-party AI and hosting providers. Their availability and policies are outside our control. If a provider is unavailable, analysis may fail until the provider recovers.

7. Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time. We may also update these terms; the date at the top of this page will reflect the latest version. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.

8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including lost opportunities or employment outcomes.
